“At the destined hour
it will come in
breathless haste”
For more than two decades, Jay and Rebecca Madden have been journaling their life experiences and noticing the many ways God makes His presence known. Their book, Breathless Haste: Finding God in Ordinary Life, grew out of these journals and shares thirty stories of discovering God in unexpected places.
And their story continues. Here, Jay and Rebecca share new stories, devotionals, and heartfelt reflections drawn from their ongoing experiences of God's presence in both the ordinary and extraordinary moments of life.
They hope to encourage others to recognize God's presence, listen for His voice, and respond to His invitation in their own lives. Their prayer is that these stories will inspire you to discover God's presence in your own everyday life and find fresh faith and hope along the way.
“It will not fail. If it delays,
wait for it; for when it comes
will be no time to linger.”
